My phone has been cranking up on me these past few weeks. it hangs and it doesn't register it's own microSD card. so all the data i have on the memory card can't be accessed through the phone. seriously, whats the point of havin a memory card in it then? i'm so frustrated.

decided to go service the Sony phone. if it's gg to cost more than 100, i'm gg to get a new one. ahhhs.. i duno why i'm hangin on to it. /frowns.

playing with the idea of gettin a new phone. but haven't decided which yet
there's sooo many choices admist the varieties. brands, types, functions yadayada.

was browsin through the net for some reviews and POP! comes a link to NEW CONCEPT PHONES. there are some fresh and quirky ideas.

My personal favourite:
it looks so cleancut and chic. yet i doubt it'll be suited for yours truely what with her being clumsy and all.

i bought: Lorea'l Mascara, Mineral make-up foundation-like coverage, a charm necklace, undies and 2 bottles of perfume..

omg.. the perfume smells damn sweet.

it's similar to the Escada Island Kiss that i got, but the latter's still superior in scent.

i DETEST family politics.

it's totally wrecking the entire peace and harmony between the families.

a microscopic cell grew into a giant and this giant won't stop rambling on and on about others, badmouthing and coughing up stories in the blink of an eye just to protect itself.
it's SO SELFISH!

countless times it has returned to the queen, pleading for solace and mercy, asking for pity-charity, help and gifts.
it begged, it whined, it argued, it ployed it snatched, it lied.

the family is breakin apart.
the older generation has been torn to pieces. the remaining pieces are left for it to play with.
the queen is disorientated. she can't see clearly. blurred by the love for the people, the biasness she has towards the giant for it's pseudo strength, courage, love and the facade of protection it projects.
what's the point.
the queen wants to move over.
move to the giant's castle which it stole from her.
the queen wants to move back. because she's not happy in fairyland.
she's descending back to earth. back to "her protector"

i think i jus gained 5kg )))):

i had a makan marathon today with my parents in johor. seriously.

i ate a hefty lunch --- ADDED A LOT OF EXTRA INGREDIENTS for my fishball noodle. i think mine added to 16+ringgit

after that like an hr later we alighted the car to eat again. this time to eat penang laksa, cendol, chingchow and ice kachang. ohoh and crispy pancake.
afterwhich we bought goreng pisang, fried prawn cakes and fried sweet potato to eat from the roadside stalll.
we went to a cafe. ISLAND RED CAFE. then drank a few drinks and ate newyork cheesecake

then we went to JUSCO (this huge shopping mall in msia ) where after walking around, buying a few magazines, socks and a few accessories, we ate A&W.
We went to the hypermarket to get groceries.
then jus now when i returned home, i ate two fried chicken, ate two vege dumplings, drank a cup of apple juice and two coconuts. (my maid brought them back from phillipines ((: ]

I went to IDP's STUDY IN AUSTRALIA fair on Sunday with beloved dad,mom& Zara (Strangely). Found out quite a bit on the universities there and also managed to speak to Murdoch's MassComm lecturer Carmelo. (:
He so patiently explained what goes on during his lectures and was quite firm when warning me on what to expect: round the clock work, no slackin in his class and everyone's expected to be on their toes doing something, anything, regardless or whether they have completed their given work.

i could feel my eyes growing bigger.
in awe of his energy for writing.
Checked out Murdoch and Swineburne, didn't manage to talk to Newcastle cos they closed the booth early. hmmms.. i guess they ran out of brochures.

(let's say u get a 1.7k/mnth job after u grad and a 4% increment every year)
1st year: 1.7/mth x 12 = 20.4k
2nd year: 1.768 x 12 = 21.216k
3rd year: 1.83872 x 12 = 22.06k

so from our worklife, we lose about 63k =/

Yvonne so kindly accompanied me to RELC (idp) on monday to check out other Au Universities which i may have missed out on Sunday. Talked to the Counsellor. he recommended RMIT, UQT and Curtin for a more hands-on, technical approach to learning MassComm Media/PR.
He did comment that Murdoch is not bad, but for Media esp, the three former Unis are more reputable and are considered pioneers in this field.
Then went to TAKA w Von to get her Sis' wedding BEARS & ate at PepperLunch (:

apparently it'll cost abt 16<$ went to talk to the doc. he said even if he gime the prescription i can't buy more than 5 bottles cos it's steroid cream. like wtf lar.. cos mama nids to apply on her ENTIRE body, so it depletes exponentially.
after loads of discussion, he prescribed a slightly stronger oilment for her.
took one bottle for her to try first.
i hope it works.

cabbed to Jess' place and taught her mainly math. cos she's havin SA1 math the next day.
omg.. i gotta pull her up from 40+ marks to 60+ marks.
i hope she's able to do it.
cos i alr taught her most of the skills and she says she understands but when she does it on her own w/o guidance, she gets stuck midway.
especially when it's one more step to the final answer.

there wasn't any spoon left, so i used two forks.
they kept gettin jammed when i scoop the noodles.

taught my student in the morning then went for class gathering at 6.
went to holland V for dinner, at a place called essential brew.
heee.. nice place.

today was hell.
woke up at 2pm with a sore throat and this means i'm gonna get a fever.
anyhow, went out with family to get groceries for tonight's dinner.

i think Bangkok's one is liek 10x better..
bt dad was saying their's is mainly individual shopping malls having their own decorations,
while here it's the whole stretch of road.
only raffles there dun hv..
i wonder why...

but Bangkok's one reli has the festive spirit!
ven within the malsl there are also decorations, not only outside..
so here the xmas feel lose out by numerous notches..

it can still drive reli fast despite having the entire FAT family and 9 BAGS in the boot

and actually the long weekend jam wasn't that long.
it took like 3o mins to pass SG's checkpoint then another 1 hr+ to pass Msia's.

the next i woke up was when we alr reached MELAKA!

got ready got out for breakfast at the coffeehouse just beside the hotel..
the food was goooooddd
especially the handmade fishballs and the tri-layered tehbing!

they even have a tri-layered kopi bt we didnt' try
hahahas
the hawkers were SO SO FRIENDLY & their food was really cheap!
we ordered like 10 dishes from the differnt stalls.

went to the THEME PARK today!!
hahaha full day woots!
got "All park" tickets for everyone then we went to queue to get in.
which was really quite stupid becos we didn't even have to in the first place.
we had the tags on our hands so we jus had to show it to the person and we were through.
while those who didn't have the tags had to queue.
damn we were stupid.

anyways the queues were EXPECTANTLY long....
and the one for the Go-Kart was the longest..
goshh..
like 2 hrs can..
Alden insisted we wait patiently so we did.
see we're nice ((:0

sat on all the "5 must-ride rides" after the entire day
hahahas.. only once.
gahhh and we started at 11am, ended at around 9.
gosh the queues are KILLER!

and the corkscrew reli is SCREWED!
we only managed to sit on it the third time we queued!
and each time it was like nearly reaching alr (like 4 more turns)
then it'll be our turn.
yet there's always technical error or bad weather that comes in
....
o wells at least we FINALLY managed to sit on it.
hahaha
seriously,
only the Cyclone, Corkscrew, Spinner and Space Shot are worth sitting.

TODAY i saw a realllly realllly old man around the age of 75yrs walking and walking then he lost his balance.

after his initial fall, all of us jus watched him.
hewent away, sped up in his hurry and his body leaned forward.
TOO forward.
so much so that he nosedived into the concrete.
HE WAS HOLDING A WALKING STICK TOO!
luckily the walking stick didn't end up sticking thru his head.
i know i'm a bit queer; i really thought that.

what if all of us became old and there is no one there to look after us.
maybe this old ah peh was actually going to the old folds home jus a street away, bt can't make it cos his legs won't budge and he doesn't have the agility and sense of balance he had before.

his emotional breakdown helped in the role, bt it was too great a consequence for him to commit suicide.damned.

the theatre was packed and we were sittin all the way up front in the 2nd row!!!

i shld have recorded Andrina's reactions to the killin and thriller scenes!

so silly me remembered abt the movie-watching part, bt it didn't occured to me about the freezing temperatures in the theatre, as usual, singapore's a first-class air-conditioned country. after PTM, Mommy kindly drove me to Marissa's hse to have 'study camp' :P
yay! i was supposed to put my bags down at her place, change then head on to CWP to meet them. bt oh boy, her mom wasn't in. apparently NOONE WAS IN! so i had to call her and i freaked out cos i couldn't find my phone and it was dark and i was alone along the corridor. ><
freaking out wondering if i left it in my mom's car stranded alone in the dark was bad. i found the phone in the end and dialled marissa. then she rushed over with jy and guess who came along too! JOELLE! haha. princess TYEA! heh heh

so i rushed thru all the actions and we got out of the house pronto.
we took a bus down to get some Botak Jones then headed to the busstop to wait for 912 to get to Jo's place.
the bus took FRIGGIN LONG can -.- we waited for approximately 30 mins. -.- and they say the frequency is 10 hurrhs.
bloody hell. i was starvin, cos i haven't had my dinner and lunch was only POPcorn and bubbletea which we sneaked in :X shhhhhh-
on the bus we played SHOOT-SHAG-MARRY which was fun hahaha. bt i was kinda sad when Jy said that i wouldn't know the guys in the Arts Lectures. ): don't remind me that i'm considered a Science student when i'm taking Arts can. damned.

we sat outside Jo's hse, ate, talked. it was reall cool outside and it felt good. jus a small private gathering. her mom was an awesome host too! she kept asking us if we wanted anything and even offered to make hot cocoa for us at 12am .O.o she even offered to drive us back to marissa's hse where me and jy were sleeping over :P
wow. haha.. i tink we kept Jo's mom up being around at such a late late time.
JO taught JY and ME some melody to play on her piano :P awesome! that talented musician was amazing. hahah the way her fingers flew and pressed the keys kept me fascinated hahahaha cos they looked reall cute and funny.
by the time we returned to marissa's hse and were all changed, me and JY jus hit the bed and couldn't open our eyes. hahhaa.. cha's bed was super comfy and soft. all snuggly. bt i missed my bolster. haha cos she didn't have any. oh wells.

how nice it wud be if i cud compress my bolster and pack it in a travel pack, then pump it up or smth when i nidd it to complete my slumber :P

ok so prelim is over and the rigour for mugging has set in.
though i haven't really been working extremely hard, i've been working.
and that's good.

today we had some evening econs lecture which was quite good, the teachers have moved to teaching us answering techniques instead of just laying out the answers for us to copy.
Great Shift. personally, this method of teaching is so much better than the 'spoonfeeding' one that they have been adopting the past months. and i'm actually starting to like econs and math(stats of course). haha! the super super duper skull-cracking mind-torturing subjects are actually becoming relatively easier to wield. (like a sword since 'the pen is mightier than the sword')
furthermore, it was kinda freaky how the Mrs K could rmb the exact scores of the top students ( even for each question in the paper! ) oh wells conisidering that they are her STAR STUDENTS, i guess she does keep a close watch on their progress so as to ensure that there are at least SOME As in the cohort.

went to Vivo to watch Kung Fu Panda as a family.. Like finally!
it's damn cute and comparable to What Happened In Vegas on the laughter scale :)
hmms. Po was super cute bt some lines were just really cliche and all.

might buy the DVDs for both movies. then relax snugly in my comfy couch with some NACHOS&CHESSE and an ice cold bottle of beer during the holidays for the movie marathon. and when i say holidays. i mean after A lvls kinda holidays. the next 4 months will be mug mug mug.

i already know my results for Prelim 1
and i'm nt expected anything more with a C. one C.
i didn't really cherish this June hols lar let's just put it as that.
lived with a "tmr's always there" kinda motto.
so i know and i don't expect to do well.
prelim 2's the final before-the-As-chance.
and with me starting (serious) revision only right now.
i can only aim for prelim 2 and A lvls.

I STAYED UP ALL NIGHT!

it's been a long time since i pulled an all-nighter and didn't fall asleep halfway thru the night. heh.

ok fine. i was up watching tv and catching the ellen show and friends.
it was GOOD.
lols. bt the lousy thing was that Dad turned off the router &&& he LOCKED the master bedroom door. so i CAN'T go in to turn the damn thing on.

neways. consultation with Ms Wong was alright. i was terribly TERRIBLY confused with the diminishing amount of induced consumption that people spend when the Aggregate Expenditure increases in the multiplier effect.
i mean. ahhh.nvm.. i'll only confused me and more of us, so i'll stop there.
neways hahaha we dragged the session close to 2 hrs. bt it was good. cleared the doubts, bt the theories are still a lil' murky.

the place was filled with sweet smelling aroma with a thang of spiciness in them.

like many ants biting at the same time, but really quickly and in a swift rhythm.

ANN said mine looked the same before and after threading.
